Memory search — one query, all sources
Unified search across notes, Persona Graph, Mind sources, email cache, and episodes — scoped filters and LTR thumbs on Hub.
Before you start
- Trial/Pro or team plan for GET /v1/memory/search on cloud.
- Cloud Self sync on; training opt-out off for feedback thumbs.
Steps
- 1
Hub → Self → Memory card (or global Search when scoped to Self).
- 2
Type a query — debounced GET /v1/memory/search returns ranked hits with source badges.
- 3
Toggle scopes: notes, graph, mind, email, episodes — at least one must stay enabled.
- 4
Tap 👍/👎 on a hit — POST /v1/memory/search/feedback for light learning-to-rank (opt-in).
- 5
Tap a hit — clients prefer open_url deep links (notes?note=, mind?notebook=, graph?entity=, email?msg=, self?episode=) so the right surface opens in one click.
- 6
Attach PDF to Life — local or cloud file ingests as a Life notebook page.
- 7
Team boundary: personal memory only — not visible to team admins.
Common mistakes
- Empty q returns 400 — type at least one character.
- MEMORY-SLO budget p95 documented in docs/MEMORY-SLO.md.
- Graph entities seed memory — add people/projects in Graph tab first.
- Companion citations reuse the same Hub paths as hub_path Open links.
