Top section bar and save-on-switch
Switch FlyType sections from a compact top bar or menu — unsaved Notes and Self edits save automatically.
Before you start
- Signed in on Mac, Windows, or Hub dashboard.
Steps

Mac/Windows: open Notes, Mind, Meetings, or Self — a thin horizontal bar appears at the top (toggle in settings: nav_rail_enabled).

Hub: the primary bar is Home · Meetings · Notes · Mind · Voice · Search, plus grouped More (see Help → Hub → Hub navigation).

Hub Meetings: Record in browser (mic) or drag-drop import — both block top-bar navigation until upload finishes.

Click another section — FlyType flushes the current section first (Notes title/body, Self bio).

Mind: unsent chat text is stashed per notebook and restored when you return.

Meetings: navigation is blocked while recording or importing — stop or wait for upload first.

Toggle icons-only in Settings (Mac/Windows/Hub) or with the compact button on the bar.
Common mistakes
- Menu bar / tray links use the same guard as the bar — no duplicate save paths.
- Hide the bar anytime; top navigation still autosaves on Hub.
