Windows tray and hotkeys
FlyType in the system tray — Ctrl+Shift+D and quick access to Notes, Mind, Clipboard.
Before you start
- FlyType Windows installed from Setup.exe.
Steps

Find the FlyType icon near the clock — may be in the overflow (^) menu.

Right-click tray icon: Dictate, Insights, Notes, Mind, Self, Clipboard, Settings.

Module windows include a compact top section bar — tray menu and bar share the same save-on-switch path (Notes autosave, Meetings recording guard).

Default hotkey: Ctrl+Shift+D — hold to record (same as release-to-finish depending on settings).

Engine mode submenu: Auto / Cloud / Local.

Sign in with browser opens Hub device login — link this PC to your account.
Common mistakes
- Run Setup as admin once if hotkey fails on elevated apps.
- UIA text injection needs target app focused — click the field first.
