Before you start

  • Hub account, cloud sync on.

Steps

  1. 1

    Hub → Self → Start onboarding (or /self/onboarding).

  2. 2

    Step 1–2: roles, goals, values — plain language, not a resume.

  3. 3

    Step 3: writing samples optional — improves Compose tone matching.

  4. 4

    Step 4: privacy — choose what syncs to cloud vs stays local.

  5. 5

    Finish — Self tab in mobile/desktop shows persona summary; Compose uses the same profile.

Common mistakes

  • Re-run onboarding anytime from Self → Edit persona.
  • Team admins cannot read persona text — only usage metrics.
