Save a meeting to a Mind notebook

From a ready meeting, create or pick a Mind notebook and choose what to save (summary, actions, transcript, decisions). Uses the Meetings → Mind path — not Notes.

Before you start

  • Signed in on Hub or Mac.
  • A meeting in ready status (summary and/or transcript available).
  • Mind notebooks available (or create one from the sheet).

Steps

  1. 1

Open a ready meeting → click Save to Mind (or Save more if already linked).

  2. 2

Choose kinds: Summary and Actions are on by default; Transcript is off (quota/noise); Decisions appears when summary slices exist.

  3. 3

Pick an existing Mind notebook or Create new notebook (title defaults to the meeting title).

  4. 4

Save — FlyType creates Mind source(s) and sets meeting lineage (mind_source_id + mind_source_ids). Open each linked source in Mind.

  5. 5

On Mac / Win / iOS / Android: Meeting detail → Save to Mind opens the in-app sheet and calls POST /meetings/{id}/to-mind.

  6. 6

Already linked: sheet shows Already in Mind + open-in-Mind links for each source + Save more into another notebook.

  7. 7

Capture auto (Settings → Mind Capture → Meetings auto) can still save on ready without the sheet — use Help + this article to choose manual vs auto.

  8. 8

Notes Everyday NE-L is a different bridge (meeting summary → Notes folder). This flow always targets a Mind notebook.

Common mistakes

  • Quota: Free 5 / Pro 100 Mind saves from Meetings per month (same as Soft GA to-mind).
  • Opt-out Hub sheet: NEXT_PUBLIC_MEETINGS_MIND_NOTEBOOK_UX=0; native: MEETINGS_MIND_NOTEBOOK_UX=0.
  • Hub / Mac / Win / iOS / Android: in-app Save-to-Mind sheet → POST /meetings/{id}/to-mind (Hub soft secondary).
  • Canon Help: /help/meetings/save-to-mind-notebook (legacy /help/platform/meetings-save-to-mind-notebook).
  • Markers: meetings-save-to-mind · meetings-mind-notebook-picker · meetings-mind-kind-*.
