Meetings Library — folders and Meeting File
Meetings is a library of meeting files: list + folders, then open one File (audio + transcript + protocol + artifacts). Same IA on Hub and apps; local capture without forced Sign in; cloud sync when signed in.
Before you start
- FlyType Meetings Soft GA available (Hub or Mac/Win/iOS/Android).
- For cloud folders and sync: signed in.
- Library folders flag ON (prod default for soft GA).
Steps
- 1
Open Meetings — you see the Library list (local index and/or cloud meetings).
- 2
Hub or Mac: use the folders sidebar (Inbox + your folders). Create, rename, move meetings between folders.
- 3
iOS/Android: filter by folder chips; full folder CRUD stays on Hub/Mac for soft GA.
- 4
Open a ready meeting → Meeting File canvas: player, Transcript (home when ready), Protocol, Artifacts (export / Mind / Notes / Automations).
- 5
If transcription fails or stays empty: status shows failed + error code + Retry — not a silent empty ready.
- 6
Folder-scoped scripts: Hub folder ⋮ → Scripts, or Automations chip on the File — AutoFlow folder_ids empty = all meetings; otherwise only that folder (inbox = unfiled).
- 7
Windows soft GA: open the same Library on Hub when native rail is limited; deep links keep transcript and Automations reachable.
Common mistakes
- Folders belong to Meetings — not Notes folders and not Mind notebooks.
- Transcript lives in Meetings; Save to Mind / Notes are bridges only.
- Speakers and Ask stay Free (Free Promise).
