In-app insert toast (Mind, Self, Notes)

When voice lands inside FlyType — Mind chat, Self companion, or Notes Inbox — you see the same short toast: Inserted into FlyType.

Before you start

  • Signed in on Mac, Windows, iOS, or Android.
  • Microphone permission granted.

Steps

  1. 1

Desktop: while Mind chat, Self companion, or a Notes field is focused, finish dictation — text inserts in that composer and the HUD shows «Inserted into FlyType» (dictation-inserted-affordance).

  2. 2

iOS/Android Mind: tap the mic on the chat composer, speak, stop — transcript appends to the field and the same toast/chip appears.

  3. 3

iOS/Android Self: tap the companion mic, speak — text inserts into the companion composer with the same affordance.

  4. 4

iOS/Android Notes: tap Record note / voice capture — a new Inbox note is created and the insert toast confirms delivery (soft on-device or system speech).

  5. 5

External apps still use paste/IME — the toast means the text stayed inside FlyType, not that Clipboard or Cursor received it.
