Rich chat answers (tables, charts, KPI, compare, Mermaid)

Mind chat can answer with structured blocks — not only paragraphs — on Hub and native clients.

Before you start

  • Notebook with Ready sources and Mind chat enabled.

Steps

  1. 1

Ask questions that compare options, list metrics, or summarize stats — the orchestrator picks table/chart/KPI/compare blocks.

  2. 2

Hub renders GFM tables, bar/line charts, KPI rows, side-by-side compare cards, and sandboxed Mermaid diagrams.

  3. 3

Mac, iOS, Android, and Windows parse the same fenced blocks in streaming answers (display-only — no code execution).

  4. 4

Use citation chips as usual — rich blocks sit beside grounded text with source links.

  5. 5

Export CSV/PNG from tables and charts on Hub; Mac can share rich segments via the system share sheet.

Common mistakes

  • Try Analyst preset or Deep detail mode when you need structured output (see related articles).
  • Mermaid requires network on first render (CDN script); fallback shows diagram source as monospace text.
