Control how long and structured Mind answers are — per notebook, on Hub and mobile.
Before you start
- Mind chat on a notebook with Ready sources.
Steps

Open Chat → find Answer depth chips: Brief, Normal (default), Deep.

Brief caps answers around 150 words — best for quick checks.

Normal uses the default orchestrator length with citations.

Deep adds section headings and richer structure — ideal for reports and study notes.

Selection persists per notebook in browser localStorage (Hub) or on-device prefs (iOS/Android/Mac/Windows).
Common mistakes
- Configure presets (Student, Legal, Brief, Analyst) can set detail level together with persona — Hub gear menu.
- Deep mode may take slightly longer to stream; wait for the Done step before saving to Studio.
