Analyst chat preset
One-click persona for data-heavy answers — tables, charts, and concise metrics from your sources.
Before you start
- Mind notebook with indexed sources.
Steps

Open Mind → notebook → Chat.

Hub: open Configure (gear) → choose Analyst preset — sets persona + Normal/Deep detail as documented in the preset card.

Native apps: tap the Analyst chip in the chat toolbar (alongside Tutor, Skeptic, ELI5).

Ask quantitative questions — e.g. trends, comparisons, pros/cons across sources.

Clear the chip or pick Default to return to neutral assistant tone.
Common mistakes
- Analyst pairs well with source filter — scope chat to specific Ready sources before asking.
- Learning mode stays independent; turn it off when you want direct answers instead of Socratic hints.
