Regenerate or reset a notebook cover
Refresh AI art when sources change, or return to the emoji stub without deleting the notebook.
Before you start
- Notebook with Ready sources (for AI regenerate).
Steps
- 1
Open Mind library → long-press (mobile) or right-click (Mac/Windows) the notebook card.

Choose Regenerate cover — queues async generation; card shows progress until WebP is ready.

Choose Reset to emoji — clears AI image and restores stub gradient (instant, no quota).
- 4
On Hub, use the cover menu on the library card or notebook header — same actions.
- 5
Poll completes in background — switch notebooks freely; failed jobs keep the previous cover.
Common mistakes
- Regenerate counts against your monthly AI cover quota; reset is free and unlimited.
- Add richer sources before regenerating — semantic prompts use indexed titles and snippets.
