Create and manage reminders
Turn a note, voice capture, or Siri request into a reminder, then complete or snooze it on any signed-in device.
Before you start
- Signed in with Notes sync enabled.
- Allow notifications on the device where you want alerts.
Steps
- 1
In Hub Notes, open a note → Reminders → enter text and a date/time → Add reminder.
- 2
For voice capture, enable Settings → Reminders → Auto-create from voice; dates detected in a note can create a reminder automatically.
- 3
On iPhone or iPad, say «Remind me with FlyType …» or add Create FlyType reminder in Shortcuts.
- 4
Mark a reminder complete from its note, or snooze it for 10 minutes, one hour, or tomorrow at 09:00.
- 5
Choose the destination in Settings → Reminders: FlyType notification, system Reminders/Calendar, or both.
- 6
Android schedules alert channels for reminders; keep FlyType notifications allowed and exempt it from aggressive battery restrictions if alerts arrive late.
Common mistakes
- Tomorrow at 09:00 uses the reminder's saved timezone, not the browser timezone.
- Apple Watch shows only the due count from the paired iPhone, never reminder titles.
- Self's daily brief can include due reminders; it does not create or complete them for you.
