Capture Router
Opt-in rules that send dictation, meetings, and tagged notes into the right Mind notebook — with Hub dry-run and offline outbox.
Before you start
- Signed in with at least one notebook.
- Capture Router is off by default — enable only what you want.
Steps

Hub → Settings → Capture Router (or Privacy → Open Capture Router rules).

Turn on Enable Capture Router, then choose which producers auto-route: dictation, meetings, notes.

Add a rule: event kind + match (app id glob, keyword, meeting template, or note tag) → target notebook.

Reorder priority — lower number wins; first matching enabled rule routes the event.

Use Dry-run with sample text/app to see matched notebook before enabling on devices.

On Mac, optional preview confirm lets you edit the source title; offline captures keep notebook/rule in the outbox.
Common mistakes
- Meetings Free Promise: routing never paywalls speaker labels or Ask — only soft quotas may skip ingest.
- Mobile clients sync the same mind_capture_* preferences; edit rules on Hub for the canonical editor.
- Legacy Phase 39 Mind auto-routing still works when Capture Router is off.
