Record a meeting (Free)
Long-form mic capture on Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android — separate from hold-to-talk dictation.
Before you start
- FlyType signed in; microphone permission.
Steps
- 1
Open Meetings (Mac menu, Windows tray, or mobile Meetings tab).
- 2
Enter an optional title, then Record. Pause/resume and Mark highlights as needed.
- 3
Stop & save — audio stays local first, then uploads when online.
- 4
Open Hub → Meetings to see speakers and summary after processing.
Common mistakes
- Free max length is 90 minutes per meeting; monthly cap is 180 minutes.
- Dictation hotkey still works independently while Meetings records.
