Notes Canvas (Card board)
Use the Canvas tab to place stickies, photos, tables, and charts on one spatial board for a note — not a second Mind whiteboard and not PDF Document Canvas.
Prima di iniziare
- Signed in with Notes open on Hub or Mac.
- Canvas 2.0 kinds (table/chart Add) use soft flag NOTES_CANVAS_V2 / NEXT_PUBLIC_NOTES_CANVAS_V2 (default ON; set =0 to hide Add chrome).
Passaggi
- 1
Open a note → switch to Canvas (Холст) — Mac Notes detail tabs or Hub Notes body mode Canvas.
- 2
Add a sticky for short freeform text; drag cards on the 24px grid.
- 3
Add a photo: choose Upload (file picker) — photos land as image cards on the board. If attachments already exist, use From attachments to place one.
- 4
With Canvas 2.0 ON: Add table or Add chart to place mini cards (same headers/rows and chart_type/labels/values shape as Comfort Edit blocks — not auto-mirrored from linear Edit).
- 5
On Hub: use − / % / + and Fit to zoom; drag empty canvas to pan; ⌘/Ctrl+scroll zooms. Mac pan/zoom depth ships in the Mac shell (NC2-C).
- 6
Preview shows the same sticky, image, table, and chart cards read-only.
- 7
Sync keeps one canvas block (items_canvas) per note — switching Edit/Preview must not wipe cards.
Errori comuni
- Canvas = spatial layout of one note. Mind Thinking Board and PDF Document Canvas are different products.
- Photo upload from Canvas is always available (NC2-A) — it is not behind the soft flag.
- Opt out typed Add chrome: NEXT_PUBLIC_NOTES_CANVAS_V2=0 (Hub) or NOTES_CANVAS_V2=0 (native); already-saved table/chart cards still preserve on sync.
- Win / iOS / Android get soft parity later (NC2-E); Hub + Mac are the hard path for kinds and Help.
